Puppy courses are not a replacement for Basic Obedience, which starts at 5 months because of your dog's growth and socialization window — they build the foundation it depends on.

Sessions cover engagement, marker words (yes, good, no), come, sit, place, down, leash manners, and an overview of routine, structure, and exposure.

When a course is not the right starting point

If your dog lunges, barks, freezes, or has bitten, a general obedience course is the wrong first step.
